If you are ready to leave the streets, take the next step in your education or work life, talk to someone who cares, and make changes, Bridge is here. We believe that every young person can achieve a healthy and productive adulthood with the right support. Our team of counselors, teachers and medical volunteers are here to listen to your concerns and help you create a plan that will put you on the path to independence.

Our free programs and services for 14 to 24 year-olds has made Bridge a trusted ally to homeless, disconnected and high-risk young people for almost 40 years.

Medical Van Schedule

Every weeknight, Bridge Over Troubled Waters Outreach Workers and Medical Volunteers make stops in various Boston neighborhoods on the Mobile Outreach/Medical Van. Currently the van stops at Park St, Jackson Square, Mishamtom Park, Jim Rice Field, the Night Center and Foss Park. Continue to check back for updated stops.

Bridge Supports Youth who have
Aged-Out of Foster Care

Nearly half of the 2,400 youth that Bridge serves annually were once in foster care or will soon be aging out. This "aged-out" population is at high risk for unemployment, school failure and criminal behavior. Young adults who have "aged out" of the foster care system are especially vulnerable to homelessness. A major report released last April tells us that 40% of former foster children will find themselves homeless – most within a year of leaving foster care. Bridge specializes in responding to the needs of youth who are homeless or at risk for becoming homeless. Whether it is through our educational/vocational programs, transitional living programs or survival services, Bridge helps youth who have aged-out of foster care to build skills and transition safely into independence.
