BID FOR BRIDGE BID FOR BRIDGE is now LIVE on EBay Bid on a one-of-a-kind Fender Jazz Bass Guitar
A capacity crowd of 1,200 fans jammed into Club Lido, Revere for The Gallery East Reunion extravaganza on 8/29/10. Fans literally came from all over the US and the world to see re-united 1980s Hardcore Punk bands: DYS, the FU's, Jerry's Kids, Gang Green, Antidote and Slapshot as well as up and comers Refuse/Resist & The Revilers. ROBB ZARGES, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS, spoke at the event, chronicling Bridge's history and mission and announced on stage the signing, by all bands present, of a white Fender Jazz bass guitar being donated by DYS co-founder & bass guitarist, Jonathan Anastas. Now, it's your turn! BID on this cult classic, one-of-a-kind signed Fender Jazz bass guitar with ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE AUCTION GOING TO BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS! This set of bands will never play together again and all these musicians will never be in the same city again together, let alone share a stage. Even if you weren't one of the lucky 1,200 to watch Anastas play on 8/29/10, you can see his performance when the documentary is released and available on DVD in Spring 2011. On behalf of Gallery East Productions (Duane Lucia, Owner), DYS (Jonathan Anastas, DYS bass player and co-founder), " xxx All Ages xxx" - Boston Hardcore Music Documentary (Duane Lucia, Executive Producer, Drew Stone, Director & Katie Goldman, Producer), Freelance Media (Karyn Cafarell, Owner), The Hardcore Punk music community and most importantly, Boston's most vunerable kids (www.bridgeotw.org), GET OUT THOSE CHECKBOOKS and BID FOR BRIDGE!!! A special thanks to Karyn Cafarell for donating her time, passion and PR expertise
