Operation Backpack/Clothing and Wish List Items (click to see example of items needed) Note: Due to storage capacities and limited resources, we are only able to accept new items which can be purchased on our Amazon Wish List. If you donate from our Amazon Wish List, items can be shipped directly to Bridge!

One of the most satisfying, fun, and creative ways you can support our efforts is by participating, supporting or planning an event of your own with proceeds benefiting Bridge! You can plan a golf tournament, a 5K, triathlon or any type of special event!  Individuals or companies interested in organizing a fundraising event may contact June Mattioli, Director of Development, at 617-423-9575 Ext. 228, or jmattioli@bridgeotw.org

Coordinate with staff to cook off-site and deliver to the Emergency Residence (ER). Can be a one-time opportunity or once weekly or once monthly. Coordinate with staff to either help cook and serve breakfast or lunch on-site for the Transitional Day Program (TDP) or cook off-site and deliver to the TDP. Can be a one-time opportunity or once weekly or once monthly. Coordinate with staff to either help cook and serve dinner in the Warming Center (November–April) or cook off-site and deliver meal to the Warming Center. Take out deliveries are welcome for the TDP, ER, and Warming Center.

Medical Care

Volunteer on Mobile Medical Van; Please email resume to jmorton@bridgeotw.org and indicate on application your ability to acquire malpractice certificate. Those interested should fill out the individual volunteer application form on the application page and the Medical Coordinator will be in touch to schedule a call/ interview.

Education Department

 

Tutors who can commit June through August. Those interested should fill out the individual application form on the application page.

Holiday Gift Drive

Purchase holiday wishlist gift items for Bridge residents and homeless youth. List becomes available after Thanksgiving.

 
Other volunteer opportunities arise seasonally and as needed such as holiday gift drives, fall and spring garden clean-up and on-site career presentations to our youth for career development.
