Our Advisory Council members serve as advocates and ambassadors for Bridge to the community at large, and also as passionate advisers and volunteers on the programs Bridge provides to youth.

The Advisory Council consists of 10 to 50 members

With a strong commitment to Bridge through philanthropy and volunteerism, our Advisory Council members help create true impact in the community. As articulate spokespersons for Bridge among their own personal networks and communities, our Advisory Council members help increase community awareness of Bridge.

Each Council member brings unique knowledge and skills to support Bridge in its mission to support homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth with age-appropriate services and guidance towards independent futures. We are grateful for the time, treasure, and talent our Advisory Council members share.

If you are interested in learning more about how to join our Advisory Council, please contact Melissa Cording, Director of Development, at

In addition to serving a two-year term, each member donates $1,000 or more each year in support of Bridge’s life changing program and services.

When a close friend of mine asked if I would be interested in joining the Advisory Council, I jumped at the chance to contribute to this wonderful organization.  As a child my father would say “a community is only as strong as its weakest link.”  I like to think that Bridge is working to strengthen our community, one link at a time.
