Our Advisory Council members serve as advocates and ambassadors for Bridge to the community at large, and also as passionate advisers and volunteers on the programs Bridge provides to youth.

The Advisory Council consists of 10 to 50 members

With a strong commitment to Bridge through philanthropy and volunteerism, our Advisory Council members help create true impact in the community.

Each Council member brings unique knowledge and skills to support Bridge in its mission to support homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth with age-appropriate services and guidance towards independent futures.

Join our Advisory Council!

If you are interested in learning more about how to join our Advisory Council, please contact Melissa Cording, Director of Development, at

Each member gives $1,000 or more each year to support Bridge’s life changing program and services, and serves a two-year term. At the end of their initial two-year term, a Council member may extend their term subject to review of the Council’s co-chairs.

Advisory Council Responsibilities

  1. To become knowledgeable about Bridge and its activities through participation in service activities and Advisory Council meetings.

  2. To be articulate spokespersons for Bridge among friends, associates, colleagues and the public.

  3. Commit to a minimum of two Advisory Council initiatives per year focused on areas essential to the advancement of Bridge’s mission.

  4. Knowing that Bridge is only able to fulfill its mission through the generosity of individuals, foundations and corporations, Council members participate in the organization’s fundraising activities, either as part of the Bridge 2 the Future Committee or through an independent fundraising initiative.
