The support we receive from corporations, community partners and individuals makes a huge difference in the lives of our youth who rely on Bridge each day.
We love creatively coming up with new and interesting ways to engage our partner organizations to give in our community based on philanthropic focus and capacity.
If you’re interested in starting the conversation around how your organization can organize an event to benefit Bridge Over Troubled Waters, please contact Barbara Baxter, Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org
There are several ways we work with our corporate and community partners:
Grants: Help fund our programs and services for those working to rebuild their lives
Host an event to benefit Bridge Over Troubled Waters: Casual Fridays or Jeans Day at the office for a small donation, or the 50/50 raffle proceeds from your holiday party. We’ll help you with ideas!
Toiletry Drives: Host an in-house toiletry drive at your organization for our Street Outreach and Mobile Medical Van staff!
Events: Sponsor or attend one of our annual events in support of our guests and mission
Employee Giving: If your corporation promotes employee giving, add Bridge Over Troubled Waters to your list of charities!

The first Winter Walk was held on Sunday, February 12, 2017. In an attempt to raise awareness, several hundred people took the opportunity to experience a small part of what the homeless experience every day in the winter—the freezing cold. People walked a 2-mile route from Copley Square, up Boylston Street, through Boston Common, and back down the other side of the Public Garden. After the walk, everyone joined in a community breakfast while watching a video of shared stories and experiences from members of the community affected by homelessness. Bridge was one of 5 beneficiaries of the proceeds from this inaugural event. (Photos: Click Here)
