Good Shepherd Quincy donates hundreds of "blessing bags"

A youth receives a bag filled with snacks, water, and toiletries outside our Mobile Medical Van.

“Blessing bags” full of snacks and toiletries

The Good Shepherd Quincy congregation wanted to give back in the community with Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

To maximize their impact, they chose to meet a crucial need of our Mobile Medical Van - street supply kits.

Each “blessing bag” was filled with snacks, crucial toiletries, and other small items that youth would find invaluable while out on the streets.

Our Mobile Medical Van is out on the Boston Common for several hours each night, five nights a week, and then also over in Harvard Square, Cambridge engaging with youth. Mobile Medical Van and street outreach staff will be able to distribute all of these donated bags as they interact with youth who are looking for resources and basic services. Thank you - we’re grateful for the support!
