2019 The Path Home Gala raises $2.1 million and honors David Long, Chairman and CEO of Liberty Mutual Insurance

On Friday, May 10, 2019 more than 300 of Boston’s influential business leaders and philanthropists joined at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston to support Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ annual The Path Home Gala.

This year’s event co-chairs were Chuck Clough, Chairman, CEO and Portfolio Manager at Clough Capital Partners, and Tom May, Chairman Emeritus of Eversource Energy. The event raised $2.1 million for the programs and services at Bridge Over Troubled Waters (Bridge), Boston’s foremost agency serving homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth. 2019 Gala Honoree: David Long, Chairman and CEO of Liberty Mutual Insurance

Bridge Over Troubled Waters is proud to honor David Long of Liberty Mutual Insurance for his efforts to serve Boston’s homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth.

David has been a champion for vulnerable youth and young adults. Partnering with Bridge in many ways over the past decade, David has helped strengthen Bridge’s comprehensive continuum of services ranging from street outreach and emergency overnight respite to housing programs.

The 2018 Gala honored Josh Kraft, Nicholas President and CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and President of the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation, for his work with young people.

Co-chaired by Miceal Chamberlain, Jr., Massachusetts President, Bank of America, and Bob Davis, General Partner, Highland Capital Partners, the 2018 gala raised critical funds for Bridge’s programs and services. WBZ-TV anchor Paula Ebben served as the evening’s emcee.

Concord residents honored at 2016 benefit for at-risk youth

The distinguished honorees for the event were Concord residents Laura and Bob Reynolds.

Over 300 guests recently attended the Bridge Over Troubled Waters Annual Gala and Auction held at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston in 2016. The event raised more than $1.4 million to aid the organization’s programs dedicated to transforming the lives of runaway, homeless and high-risk youth. Also in attendance were a number of other Concord residents who served on the Gala Committee, most notably, Gloria and Chuck Clough; presenting sponsors of the Gala and longstanding supporters Kim and Dennis Burns and Ann Marie and Dick Connolly.
