Bridge Over Troubled Waters names Gloria Clough of Concord, Mass. as new Board Chair

The Bridge Over Troubled Waters (Bridge) Board of Directors recently appointed Gloria Clough of Concord, Massachusetts, as its new chair.

Clough, a longtime supporter of Bridge, has served on the Bridge board since 2010 and most recently served as Chair of the Development Committee. Ms. Clough assumed her position as Chair of the Board effective January 1, 2019, succeeding outgoing Chair Daniel Buoniconti.

“I am humbled and honored to serve as the new board chair of Bridge as we continue to work together to help homeless, runaway and at-risk youth in our community,” Ms. Clough states.

Clough comes into this role at a pivotal time as Bridge expands its continuum of care to incorporate more supportive programming and housing opportunities, empowering youth to establish their own independent futures.

“We are so happy to have Gloria as our new Board Chair,” said Bridge Over Troubled Waters Executive Director Elisabeth Jackson. “I’m excited to build on our longstanding partnership and work with Gloria to continue our mission.” 

Gloria Clough is a Clinical Specialist in psychiatric and mental health who previously had a private practice in Concord. Ms. Clough also serves on the Board of Directors at Emerson Hospital, where she established the first chaplaincy program in 1991 and served as Chaplain from 1991 to 1995. She received her R.N. from the Roger Williams General Hospital School of Nursing and her M.S. in nursing from Boston College. She also holds a B.S. with a concentration in psychology from St. Joseph's College and a Master of Divinity from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology.
