Join Bridge Over Troubled Waters at Winter Walk 2019

The third annual Winter Walk will take place on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 8:30am.

The walk is an opportunity for all to come together in recognition and awareness of Boston’s individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness. Starting and ending in Copley Square, the walk is a two mile loop around the Boston Common.

Join our team and walk with our group! You can connect with your friends, and help raise awareness in support of Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

Zdeno Chara of Boston Bruins stops by with donated socks

This holiday season, Chara, Captain of the Boston Bruins hockey team, stopped by to drop off scores of brand new socks for our youth. The socks will be very useful for our street outreach team and mobile medical van staff to be able to distribute to youth in need outdoors on the streets, on the Boston Common and in Harvard Square. As Bridge serves 2,000 youth each year, every pair is tremendously helpful.

2018 National RHY Grantees Training: Bridge Over Troubled Waters attends

Hosted by the Administration for Children & Families, this conference convened key stakeholders to learn about emerging best practices in providing effective services to homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth.

Executive Director Elisabeth Jackson, and Director of Programs Peter Ducharme attended the 2018 conference in Austin, Texas. Bridge had successfully submitted a poster, which highlighted our innovative approach to case management, and Elisabeth Jackson spoke on a panel.
