Linda: "One night I noticed the Bridge van and stopped to see what it was all about."

Linda is an Advisory Council member. She shares a bit about how and why she got involved with Bridge.

When a close friend asked if I would be interested in joining the Advisory Council, I jumped at the chance to contribute to this wonderful organization.  As a child my father would say “a community is only as strong as its weakest link.”  I like to think that Bridge is working to strengthen our community, one link at a time.

Neil and Jasmine share a bit about why they’ve chosen to run 7 miles and raise $2,000!

“The race is 7 miles. This is a pretty big commitment for us given that Jasmine has never run this far, and Neil hasn't run this kind of distance for at least 15 years.

Why are we running this in the middle of the summer heat you might ask? Well, we are really excited to do this run and to raise support for Bridge Over Troubled Waters.”

Meet Matt, running the 2019 Falmouth Road Race for Bridge!

I heard about this opportunity through my mom, who volunteers on the Bridge van as a physician. 

Having volunteered on the Bridge van with my mom, I was able to see first-hand the impact Bridge is able to make in the community. 

I wanted to do a bit more to make a difference in the lives of the young people Bridge serves. Not only am I hoping to raise money but also to raise awareness about the amazing services that Bridge Over Troubled Waters provides to homeless adolescents and young adults in the Boston area.
